What is E-Design?

Our E-Design services are the perfect option for clients who want an affordable, collaborative solution to designing their home.  With E-Design, after an initial consultation which includes a detailed questionnaire, we will deliver to you via email a customized floor plan, concept board, paint palette, curated shopping list, and detailed installation instructions; you will complete the shopping and the installation.  The end result is that you have a professional looking beautiful and functional room design.  If this sounds like the right solution for you, we would love to hear from you!
 

How are we different?

We love choices and we think you do too. Unlike most e-design packages where you only receive 1 floor plan and 1 concept board, we will give you 2 completely different floor plans and concept board options with shopping lists for you to choose from. Additionally, we do more than just select individual pieces for your room. Rather, we create a customized design to your needs that includes wall treatments (e.g., wallpaper) coordinating with the right paint color(s), window treatment options for all the windows in your space, ceiling design options, a complete lighting plan, including ceiling fixtures, and detailed installation instructions, including artwork and lighting placement.

Select E-Design Package

Everyone’s needs are different which is why we offer 4 different e-design packages, which are outlined below, for one, easy flat fee. Based on your needs and budget, select which one works for you and then submit the short online form below to get started.

Letter of Agreement

We will then email you our Letter of Agreement for your review and e-signature.  We also require a 50% deposit payment at this time.

Online Questionnaire

The questionnaire will help us to really understand your design style and your needs/desires for your new space. We will also ask you to include measurements of your room (Don’t worry – we show you how!), your target budget range and provide us with photos of your existing space as well as inspiration images, or invite us to join your Pinterest Board.

Design Process Phase 1 (Floor Plan Selection)

We will email you 2 floor plan options for your review.  This is a top down view of your room showing 2 different options for furniture and lighting placement.  Your role is to select the one that best meets your functional preferences for the space.

Design Process Phase 2

Happy day! Once everything is ready for you, we will email you the entire design package for your review.  This will include 2 different concept board options with all selected furnishings, paint palette suggestion, wall treatments (as needed), window treatments, curated shopping list with links and detailed installation instructions including artwork and lighting placement.  (Please note that the final payment will need to be made prior to receiving your entire design package.)

Revisions As Needed

If any minor revisions are needed (e.g., selecting up to 3 new items), we will take care of this and email back to you the updated materials. We will then follow-up with you to see if you have any additional questions.

Implement the Design

Now comes the fun part! We encourage you to purchase the new furnishings for your room as soon as possible (within 2 weeks of design package delivery), as stock availability on items can change at any time. Once your new room is set-up, we would love to see pictures so we can see your beautiful new design come to life!  We also provide 4 weeks of post-design support.

E-Design is an excellent choice for individuals who are looking for an affordable, collaborative approach for designing their home, while maintaining that professional touch, or when you want to work with a specific designer who is not in your area.  Working with a professional designer means that you don’t have to worry or second guess your decisions, saving you both time and money.  

Once we received the completed questionnaire, photographs and any needed measurements, it takes roughly 3-4 weeks to delivery of your e-design package. If revisions are requested, the revisions generally takes between 3-5 days, depending upon the request.

Yes, all e-design packages will include recommendations on specific light fixtures to include in your room, as well as exact placement recommendations.

Yes, all e-design packages will include recommendations on specific window treatments to include in your room (which can be purchased online), as well as exact placement recommendations.
These packages are ideal for individuals who are looking to update their bathrooms and kitchens, but not change the layout or the cabinetry.  Common updates include painting or refacing cabinetry, possible installation of new countertops, as well as updating the paint, hardware, lighting, faucets, artwork, and accessories.
